About the opportunity:

Disney Entertainment Television’s Production Innovation team is seeking an intern to support Innovation Lab activities, internal projects and cross-functional initiatives. The internship provides exposure to the testing and adoption of emerging technologies across television production, post-production and creative workflows.

EligibilityApplicants must be enrolled in an accredited college or university and taking at least one class at the time of application, or currently participating in an eligible Disney programme or internship.

Applicants must also:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Possess unrestricted work authorisation
  • Be available approximately 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • Arrange their own housing and transportation in the Burbank area

Preferred academic background:

Junior or senior standing is preferred. Relevant coursework in Film/Television, Media Studies, Communications, Technology or a related field is desirable.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist with Innovation Lab tours, demonstrations and events
  • Maintain project trackers, databases and internal documentation
  • Prepare presentations, research summaries and internal communications
  • Research emerging production technologies and industry trends
  • Support team meetings and follow-up activities

Skills required:

  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Teams
  • Interest in media, television production and emerging technology

Preferred skills:

Experience with AI tools, creative software, Airtable, SharePoint or similar collaboration tools is an advantage.

Pay:

The official listing states a rate of USD 22.50 per hour.
