About the opportunity:
Disney Entertainment Television’s Production Innovation team is seeking an intern to support Innovation Lab activities, internal projects and cross-functional initiatives. The internship provides exposure to the testing and adoption of emerging technologies across television production, post-production and creative workflows.
Applicants must also:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Possess unrestricted work authorisation
- Be available approximately 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- Arrange their own housing and transportation in the Burbank area
Preferred academic background:
Junior or senior standing is preferred. Relevant coursework in Film/Television, Media Studies, Communications, Technology or a related field is desirable.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist with Innovation Lab tours, demonstrations and events
- Maintain project trackers, databases and internal documentation
- Prepare presentations, research summaries and internal communications
- Research emerging production technologies and industry trends
- Support team meetings and follow-up activities
Skills required:
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Teams
- Interest in media, television production and emerging technology
Preferred skills:
Experience with AI tools, creative software, Airtable, SharePoint or similar collaboration tools is an advantage.
Pay:
