Reporting to the Head of the Information Access Unit, the Editor will ensure that Board documents are clear, consistent and decision‑ready while fostering digital innovation. Major responsibilities include:

Board document quality – deliver editorial excellence for policy and operational documents, improving structure, narrative clarity and alignment with ADB standards while handling sensitive issues.

Information and document management – lead initiatives to improve document and information management practices across the Office of the Secretary and Board of Directors.

Digital transformation – support the adoption of digital platforms and responsible AI tools to enhance access to Board information and integrate systems for better user experience.

Capacity building & culture – develop training and guidance on editorial excellence, promote good information practices and collaborate with departments and stakeholders.

Stakeholder engagement and coordination – work closely with business, editorial and technical teams to align systems and contribute to institutional initiatives.

Qualifications & benefits – Candidates should possess a master’s degree (or equivalent) in English, journalism, communications, international affairs, information management or a related field; a bachelor’s degree plus extensive relevant experience may be considered. At least six years of professional experience in information and document management and editing are required, along with digital transformation skills and international experience.
