The Green Climate Fund is recruiting an External Engagement & Communications Lead in its Executive Director’s office, at Grade C.
The role combines executive positioning, stakeholder engagement, media preparation, speeches, opinion articles and strategic communications. It requires regular international travel and familiarity with climate finance and multilateral institutions.
Candidates need a relevant master’s degree, or a bachelor’s degree with two additional years of relevant experience, plus 15 years of progressively responsible professional experience. Excellent English writing, executive speechwriting, diplomatic judgement and media relations are central requirements.
This is a senior leadership-level opportunity, not an entry-level media job.
