OBSCURA: International Conference on Horror and Contemporary Media Culture will be held at the University of Seville from 28 to 30 October 2026.
The conference examines horror across contemporary media and culture. Relevant areas include film, television, video games, digital platforms, politics, trauma, gender, representation, production cultures and emerging forms of audiovisual storytelling.
