Educational Qualification
Applicants should possess one of the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism or Mass Communication.
- Postgraduate diploma in Corporate Communication.
Required Experience
Candidates must have at least two years of relevant professional experience in communication, public relations, journalism, publication, media engagement or related institutional communication work.
Age Requirement
Applicants should generally be between 25 and 50 years of age. Applicable relaxation will be considered according to institutional rules.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will support the communication and public dissemination of research undertaken by the Centre for Development Studies. Responsibilities include:
- Preparing press releases, institutional updates, newsletters and other communication materials.
- Supporting the publication and dissemination of research outputs.
- Managing and updating the institutional website and social-media platforms.
- Maintaining publication records and the research repository.
- Producing or coordinating multimedia and digital communication content.
- Promoting academic events, research activities and institutional initiatives.
- Strengthening engagement with the media, research communities and the public.
Language and Communication Skills
Applicants should have strong English writing and communication skills. Knowledge of Malayalam and Hindi can be advantageous.
