The Fulcrum is inviting applications for its Fall Journalism Fellowship 2026, a six-week programme for emerging journalists interested in solutions journalism and community-centred storytelling.
The fellowship is part of The Fulcrum’s NextGen initiative, which supports student journalists and brings more youth perspectives into reporting on democracy, public policy and civic engagement.

Programme Focus

Climate Solutions Journalism
Through sponsorship from the Solutions Journalism Network, fellows will receive training in climate-solutions journalism.
Participants will produce an original reported story applying solutions-journalism techniques to climate-related issues and community responses.
