The Central University of Rajasthan has invited online applications for the position of Associate Professor in the Department of Culture and Media Studies.
The vacancy is being filled through direct recruitment under Advertisement No. CURAJ/R/F.176/2026/5631. The University has extended the last date for submitting online applications to 31 July 2026.
Vacancy Details
Minimum Eligibility
- A good academic record with a PhD in the concerned, allied or relevant discipline.
- A Master’s degree with at least 50% marks or an equivalent grade wherever a grading system is followed.
- A minimum of eight years of teaching and/or research experience in an academic or research position equivalent to Assistant Professor in a university, college, accredited research institution or industry.
- A minimum of seven publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.
- A total research score of 75 under the criteria prescribed in the UGC Regulations, 2018, Appendix II, Table 2.
Specialisation
Preference will be given to candidates specialising in Electronic Media Production.

Selection Process
